Chapter 5 of our Storyworthy Food Series begins on Tuesday, September 1, featuring Aisha and her journey from Kuwait to Baltimore.
In 2017, Aisha helped found Mera, and hosted the first dinner we ever had at her home with a group of 25 friends and neighbors. Nine years later, we’re excited for her to curate a special menu honoring Kuwaiti cuisine and her story.
The special menu will be available from Tuesday, September 1 through Saturday, September 5. Items will be available for dine-in and take out. A limited Mera menu will also be available.
The Story-Worthy Food series is about the human story of where we come from, how we travel, and what we carry with us. Does a conversation change what we eat? Or does what we eat change the conversation?
Each month, a different member of the Mera team will curate a special menu reflecting the pieces from their life and journey that have shaped them and brought them to Baltimore.
