FLOCK TOGETHER
What first began in 2020 as a birdwatching collective for people of color has now grown into a global movement. Founded by bird enthusiasts British-Nigerian Ollie Olanipekun and British-Sri Lankan-Jamaican Nadeem Perera, Flock Together reshapes access to the outdoors and helps people of color rebuild their relationship with the natural spaces they have often felt excluded from. Today, with chapters spanning Toronto, Tokyo, and New York, the London-based club hosts monthly birdwatching walks and field events designed to make nature more inclusive and accessible.
