A night exploring the roots and evolution of the genre that changed everything.
We’ll start the with a one hour listening session going through some of the roots of reggaeton and the records that helped shape it. We’ll move through dancehall, reggae en español, Puerto Rican underground, dembow, hip hop and some of the music that pushed the sound into the 2000s, connecting the dots between different places, scenes and generations along the way.
After that, we turn it into a party with DJ Pheel, Osmar and Vago taking over until 10 PM. The idea is to keep following that same story, but from the dance floor, moving through reggaeton from different eras alongside the sounds that have always lived around it.
Note: Tickets to the listening party at 5pm are limited! Attendees of the listening party will also have access to the dance party.
